3Mix Ointment is a combination of three drugs: Nadifloxacin, Mometasone and Miconazole. 3Mix Ointment is used to reduce swelling, itching and redness caused due to fungal skin infections. Nadifoxacin is bactericidal and works by killing bacteria that cause infections. It inhibits the repairing of bacterial cells and kills the bacteria, thereby preventing the infection's further spread. Mometasone reduces inflammation, itchiness and redness by preventing infection-fighting white blood cells (WBCs) from travelling to the affected area. It also blocks the chemical messenger (histamine) responsible for causing allergic symptoms in our bodies. Miconazole is an antifungal that causes holes in the fungal cell membranes and kills fungi.
