Adside Injection 5 ml is a chemotherapeutic medication that contains Etoposide. It is primarily used with other medications to treat testicular cancer that has not improved or worsened after treatment with other medications or radiation therapy. Etoposide injection is also used in conjunction with other drugs to treat a certain kind of lung cancer (small cell lung cancer; SCLC). It can also be used to treat monoblastic leukaemia (AML M5) and acute myelomonoblastic leukaemia (AML M4). Adside Injection 5 ml acts by blocking an enzyme that promotes cancer cell proliferation and induces cell death (apoptosis). As a result, the growth and spread of cancer cells are halted or inhibited.
Adside Injection 5 ml contains Etoposide, which is used to treat various types of cancers. It works by inhibiting an enzyme responsible for cancer cell proliferation and induces cell death (apoptosis). As a result, the growth and spread of cancer cells are stopped or slowed down.
While taking Adside Injection 5 ml, make sure you visit your doctor at all the appointments to ensure that treatment works. Regular monitoring of blood and urine tests and weight checks are required. An effective way of contraception should be used by both men and women while taking the Adside Injection 5 ml.
Do not stop taking Adside Injection 5 ml on your own. Take Adside Injection 5 ml for as long as your doctor prescribes it, depending on your medical condition. Do not hesitate to speak with your doctor if you experience difficulty while taking Adside Injection 5 ml.
Adside Injection 5 ml can make you more likely to get infections or may worsen any current infections. Avoid contact with people with infections that may spread to others (such as chickenpox, measles, or flu). Consult your doctor if you have been exposed to an infection or for more details.
The live vaccine may not work while on treatment with Adside Injection 5 ml. Do not have immunizations/vaccinations without talking to your doctor first. Also, avoid contact with people who recently had immunizations /vaccinations.
Etoposide can cause a significant decrease in the number of blood cells in your bone marrow. Your doctor will order laboratory testing on a regular basis before and during your therapy.
