Calmis D Lotion is used to treat allergic skin conditions which contains calamine, diphenhydramine, and camphor. Calamine and camphor are two astringents whereas diphenhydramine is anti-allergic. The astringents work by imparting a cooling sensation on the skin to relieve minor skin irritation and the antiallergic works by blocking the effects of a chemical messenger (histamine), thereby relieving symptoms of skin allergy.Calmis D Lotion can also be used in treating itching, sting/insect bites, rashes, eczema.
