Candid Mouth Gel Substitute

Candid Mouth Gel is a combination of two drugs: Choline salicylate and lidocaine. Choline salicylate blocks the chemical messengers that cause inflammation. Lidocaine blocks the pain signals from the nerves to the brain, thereby helps in decreasing the pain sensations.

Candid Mouth Gel should not be used for longer durations unless suggested by a doctor. If your condition does not improve despite using Candid Mouth Gel for 2 weeks, consult your doctor, he/she may prescribe you an alternate medicine.

Avoid eating foods that irritate mouth ulcers such as spicy, fried foods, and acidic fruits like grapefruit, pineapple, lemon or oranges. Include whole grains and alkaline foods in your diet.

Continue using Candid Mouth Gel for as long as your doctor has suggested it. Do not be reluctant to speak with your doctor if you experience any difficulty while using Candid Mouth Gel.

Avoid eating and drinking for 30-60minutes after using Candid Mouth Gel as it might impair your ability to swallow.
