CENTILIN-PLUS TABLETS Substitute

CENTILIN-PLUS TABLETS contains Citicoline and Piracetam. Citicoline repairs the neuronal membrane and cholinergic neurons by increasing phosphatidylcholine synthesis and potentiating the production of acetylcholine, respectively. It reduces the build-up of free fatty acids at the site of stroke-induced nerve damage. Piracetam protects the brain and nervous system against shortness of oxygen. It also improves the activity of a chemical messenger called acetylcholine which helps in communication between brain cells.

CENTILIN-PLUS TABLETS might induce seizures in myoclonic patients if discontinued suddenly. Do not discontinue CENTILIN-PLUS TABLETS without consulting your doctor. To treat your condition effectually, continue taking CENTILIN-PLUS TABLETS for as long as prescribed. Do not be reluctant to speak with your doctor if you feel any difficulty while taking CENTILIN-PLUS TABLETS .

Diarrhoea could be a side-effect of CENTILIN-PLUS TABLETS . Drink plenty of fluids and eat non-spicy food if you experience diarrhoea. Consult your doctor if you experience severe diarrhoea or if you find blood in stools.

CENTILIN-PLUS TABLETS may cause an increase in weight. Follow a healthy diet and exercise regularly to maintain a proper weight. Consult your doctor if you notice excess weight gain.

Hallucination is a medical condition in which the person may feel, hear or believe things that are not true, see things that are not there, feel unusually suspicious or confused. CENTILIN-PLUS TABLETS contains piracetam which may cause hallucination in some cases. So, if you experience hallucinations while taking CENTILIN-PLUS TABLETS , please talk to your doctor immediately.
