Constisac Orange Sachet 1 gm belongs to the group of medicines called probiotics used to treat and prevent diarrhoea, including rotaviral diarrhoea in children. Constisac Orange Sachet 1 gm contains ‘Saccharomyces boulardii’, a friendly micro-organism that helps fight disease-causing organisms in the gut, such as yeast and bacteria. Thereby, Constisac Orange Sachet 1 gm helps in treating diarrhoea. Constisac Orange Sachet 1 gm may also be used for acne, antibiotic-associated diarrhoea, Clostridium difficile-associated diarrhoea, Helicobacter pylori infection, traveller’s diarrhoea, diarrhoea in people with HIV/AIDS, and necrotising enterocolitis (a serious intestinal disease in premature infants).
Constisac Orange Sachet 1 gm helps in fighting disease-causing organisms in the gut, such as bacteria. Thus, it helps in treating diarrhoea.
To treat your condition effectually, continue taking Constisac Orange Sachet 1 gm for as long as advised. Do not be reluctant to speak with your doctor if you experience any difficulty while taking Constisac Orange Sachet 1 gm.
Constisac Orange Sachet 1 gm is yeast (fungus). Therefore, taking Constisac Orange Sachet 1 gm with anti-fungal medicines might decrease the effectiveness of Constisac Orange Sachet 1 gm. Consult your doctor if you have any concerns regarding this.
Do not take Constisac Orange Sachet 1 gm for longer durations unless advised by the doctor. Also, avoid exceeding the indicated dose of Constisac Orange Sachet 1 gm without the doctor’s advice. Talk to your doctor if the condition recurs or there is no symptomatic improvement.
Constisac Orange Sachet 1 gm can be taken with antibiotics if advised by the doctor. However, you are advised to maintain a gap of 2 hours between Constisac Orange Sachet 1 gm and antibiotics.
