Deximon-PX Eye/Ear Drops 5 ml Substitute

Deximon-PX Eye/Ear Drops 5 ml is a combination of three medicines: Chloramphenicol, Dexamethasone and Polymyxin B. Chloramphenicol is an antibiotic that acts by interfering with the formation of essential proteins required for bacterial growth. Dexamethasone is a steroid that reduces inflammation and symptoms associated with infection, such as redness and irritation. Polymyxin B is bactericidal that works by killing the bacterial cell by preventing bacterial cell walls' formation essential for survival. Together Deximon-PX Eye/Ear Drops 5 ml prevent the spread of eye and ear infections caused by a wide range of gram-negative bacteria causing eye/ear infections. 

You are not recommended to wear contact lenses during the entire course of Deximon-PX Eye/Ear Drops 5 ml as it may worsen the infection. Therefore, you are advised to remove contact lenses before using Deximon-PX Eye/Ear Drops 5 ml and reinsert them after 24 hours of finishing the course of Deximon-PX Eye/Ear Drops 5 ml.

You are recommended to maintain a minimum of 10 minutes time gap between using Deximon-PX Eye/Ear Drops 5 ml and other eye drops and administering eye ointments in the last.
