Medicinal Benefits:
Dicorub Gel is used to relieve pain and inflammation associated with musculoskeletal disorders, strain, sprain, tendonitis, joint pain, muscle stiffness, back pain, bursitis, lumbago (low back pain), neck, hand, and shoulder pain. Dicorub Gel contains Diclofenac diethylamine, oleum lini, methyl salicylate, and menthol. Diclofenac and Methyl salicylate are non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs that work by blocking the effect of a chemical messenger known as cyclo-oxygenase (COX) enzymes that make another chemical prostaglandin. By blocking the effect of COX enzymes, lesser prostaglandins are produced, which reduces mild to moderate pain and inflammation at the injured or damaged site. Oleum lini is an emollient which prevents inflammation by preventing the action of COX enzymes on arachidonic acid, thus reducing its conversion to PGE2, a highly inflammatory agent. Menthol provides a cooling sensation by dilating the blood vessels, followed by an analgesic effect. It also enhances the penetration of drugs. Together, Dicorub Gel helps in providing relief from pain.

Dicorub Gel is used to reduce and relieve pain and inflammation associated with arthritis. It is a joint disease in which the two ends of the joints come together due to the breakdown of a protective covering called cartilage.
