Folinow Tablet is used to treat nutritional deficiencies. It contains L-Methylfolate, Pyridoxal-5-phosphate, and Methylcobalamin. L-Methylfolate helps the formation of red blood cells and prevents DNA changes that may lead to cancer. It prevents and treats folate deficiency. Pyridoxal-5-phosphate (vitamin B6) is involved in protein, fat, carbohydrate metabolism and the formation of red blood cells and neurotransmitters. It helps in cognitive development through the biosynthesis of neurotransmitters and maintains normal homocysteine (an amino acid in the blood) levels. Methylcobalamin (Mecobalamin) regulates body functions like cell multiplication, blood formation, and protein synthesis. It may also help treat alcoholic, diabetic neuropathy (nerve damage) and pernicious anaemia. Together, Folinow Tablet helps treat nutritional deficiencies.

Folinow Tablet is a vitamin supplement and consists of L-Methylfolate, Pyridoxal-5-phosphate (vitamin B6), and Methylcobalamin (vitamin B12). Pyridoxal-5-phosphate in Folinow Tablet may interfere with laboratory tests like urine tests for urobilinogen. Please make sure your doctor and the laboratory staff know that you take Folinow Tablet before undergoing blood and urine examinations.
Avoid taking more than one multivitamin product concomitantly unless advised by the doctor. Taking similar nutritional supplements simultaneously can lead to a vitamin overdose or other serious side effects.
Antacids may interfere with the absorption of Folinow Tablet . Hence, taking Folinow Tablet two hours before or four hours after taking antacids is advised.
If you miss a dose, take it as soon as you remember. However, if it is time for the next scheduled dose, skip the missed dose and follow your usual dosage.
