Gastride Capsule is a combination of two drugs: Simethicone (anti-flatulent). Simethicone works by decreasing the surface tension of gas bubbles, thereby facilitates the expulsion of gas through flatus or belching (burping). It also prevents the accumulation and formation of gas in the digestive tract. Activated Charcoal works by reducing the volume of intestinal gas.

Diarrhoea might be a side-effect of Gastride Capsule . Drink lots of fluids and eat food rich in fibre if you experience diarrhoea. If you find blood in stools (tarry stools) or if you experience excess diarrhoea consult your doctor. Do not take anti-diarrheal medicine on your own.

The expiration date of any drug is the last day the manufacturer takes a guarantee of the drug's full potency. Discuss with your doctor, Gastride Capsule can be taken 15-20 days after the expiry date given the shape, color, and state of the tablet has not changed. If you find any slight change in the form of medicine, please do not consume it.
