Met XL 100 Tablet belongs to a group of medicines called beta-blockers used to treat high blood pressure (hypertension), heart-related chest pain (angina), irregular heart rhythm (arrhythmia), and to protect the heart after a heart attack (myocardial infarction). Besides this, it also helps in relieving symptoms of migraine-related headaches and tremors (fits). Met XL 100 Tablet helps in slowing down the heart rate, making it easier for the heart to pump blood throughout the body. This lowers the blood pressure and helps in reducing the risk of having a stroke, heart attack, or other heart or kidney problems in the future.
