Met XL-T 50 Tablets is a combination of two blood pressure-lowering medicines: Telmisartan and Metoprolol succinate. Telmisartan belongs to the class of drugs called Angiotensin II receptor antagonists. It works by blocking the angiotensin II receptor, thereby relaxing the blood vessels and lowering the blood pressure. Metoprolol succinate belongs to the class of drugs known as beta-blockers.
