Rakadot 100 mg Capsule 15's contains 'Racecadotril', a prodrug (inactive form) that gets converted into 'thiorphan' (active form) which reduces the watery secretions produced by the intestine. It helps in decreasing the loss of fluid from the body, thus reducing the symptoms of diarrhoea and the risk of dehydration.
