Raycid-O Mint Oral Suspension Substitute

Raycid-O Mint Oral Suspension is a combination of three drugs: Aluminium hydroxide (antacid), magnesium hydroxide (antacid) and oxetacaine (local anaesthetic). Aluminium hydroxide and magnesium hydroxide work by neutralising excess stomach acid. Oxetacaine exerts a numbing effect, thereby providing relief from pain due to ulcers or acidic injury in the stomach.

Do not take Raycid-O Mint Oral Suspension for longer durations unless prescribed by the doctor. Talk to your doctor if you do not feel better even after taking Raycid-O Mint Oral Suspension for a few days.

Diarrhoea might be a side-effect of Raycid-O Mint Oral Suspension . Drink lots of fluids and eat non-spicy food if you experience diarrhoea. If you find blood in stools (tarry stools) or experience severe diarrhoea, consult your doctor. Do not take anti-diarrheal medicine on your own.

Avoid lying down immediately after meals to prevent acidity. Raise the head of the bed 10-20cm by putting a pillow so that the head and chest are above the waist. This prevents acid reflux.

To treat your condition effectually, continue taking Raycid-O Mint Oral Suspension for as long as your doctor has prescribed it for you. Do not be reluctant to speak with your doctor if you experience any difficulty while taking Raycid-O Mint Oral Suspension .
