Rivofonet Tablet contains ‘Tenofovir disoproxil’, which is an antiretroviral agent. It can effectively cause viral suppression in HIV and chronic hepatitis B. It acts on the enzymes that are essential for the replication of the virus. The enzyme essential for HIV replication is reverse transcriptase, and the enzyme for hepatitis B is DNA polymerase. Rivofonet Tablet blocks these enzymes and decreases the viral load in the blood.
