Composition:
TRIAMCINOLONE-0.1%W/W
Uses:
Psoriasis, Eczema, and Sub-acute cutaneous lupus erythematosus.
Medicinal Benefits:
Triora Ointment contains Triamcinolone, which belongs to the class of ‘corticosteroids’. It is effectively used to treat various inflammatory skin diseases. It controls inflammation by acting on the immune system. It decreases the activity of the immune system by blocking white blood cells (WBC) from attacking the body cells (target cells). It reduces the release of chemicals that cause inflammation. This effect helps in reducing swelling, pain and discomfort.
Triora Ointment reduces pain, swelling and inflammation associated with various skin conditions. It works by blocking the release of chemicals in the body that cause inflammation. It also narrows the blood vessels at the affected area, decreasing the permeability of cells (including white blood cells) into the affected site.
Triora Ointment weakens your immune system and increases the risk of getting infections. So, make sure you stay away from people who are sick or have infections, especially chickenpox and measles.
Prolonged use of topical steroids is not recommended unless prescribed by the doctor based on your medical condition.
Please do not stop using Triora Ointment on your own, even if the symptoms are relieved. Your symptoms may improve before the skin infection is completely cured. Continue the usage of Triora Ointment until your course advised by the doctor is finished.
Triora Ointment is for topical (for skin) use only. Do not put a bandage or dressing on the affected area unless the doctor advises while treating with Triora Ointment. Do not apply Triora Ointment on mucous membranes, lesions, or large areas of skin. If the medicine gets into your eyes, nose or mouth, rinse thoroughly with cold water.
