Utisine-D Chewable Tablet contains dietary supplements, namely: Cranberry extract and D-mannose (a type of sugar) used to prevent urinary tract infections (UTIs). Utisine-D Chewable Tablet works by preventing certain kinds of bacteria from sticking to the urinary tract walls and causing infection. Utisine-D Chewable Tablet is a non-antimicrobial combination to prevent UTIs. It is advised for prevention as long term use, unlike antibiotics which are mainly used for short term use and existing UTIs. Utisine-D Chewable Tablet also avoids secondary infections, development resistance or side effects which may be possible with the use of antibiotics.

You are not recommended to take Utisine-D Chewable Tablet with warfarin as it may increase the risk of bleeding more easily. However, please consult a doctor before using Utisine-D Chewable Tablet with other medicines.
Utisine-D Chewable Tablet is not recommended for kidney failure patients. However, please consult a doctor if you have any kidney problems before taking Utisine-D Chewable Tablet .
Utisine-D Chewable Tablet may cause diarrhoea as a temporary side effect. It is not necessary for everyone taking Utisine-D Chewable Tablet to experience this side effect. However, if the condition persists or worsens, please consult a doctor.
