Vatcort TM 0.4mg/30mg Tablet contains tamsulosin and deflazacort. Tamsulosin relaxes the muscles around the bladder and prostate gland, thereby eases the passage of stones. Deflazacort reduces inflammation in the kidneys; this promotes the passage of stones via urine. Together, Vatcort TM 0.4mg/30mg Tablet helps treat kidney stones.

Do not discontinue Vatcort TM 0.4mg/30mg Tablet without consulting your doctor. To treat your condition effectually, continue taking Vatcort TM 0.4mg/30mg Tablet for as long as prescribed. Do not be reluctant to speak with your doctor if you experience any difficulty while taking Vatcort TM 0.4mg/30mg Tablet.

Diarrhoea might be a side-effect of Vatcort TM 0.4mg/30mg Tablet. Drink lots of fluids and eat non-spicy food if you experience diarrhoea. If you find blood in stools (tarry stools) or if you have severe diarrhoea consult your doctor. Do not take anti-diarrheal medicine on your own.

If you miss a dose, try to take it as soon as you remember. However, if it is almost time for the scheduled dose, skip the missed dose and take the scheduled dose instead. Avoid taking a double dose as it can cause overdose or unpleasant side effects.

Weight gain could be a side effect of Vatcort TM 0.4mg/30mg Tablet. Maintain a healthy weight by exercising regularly and eating healthy food. Talk to your doctor if you notice severe weight gain.
