FAQs

Abf Injection works by providing essential nutrients to the body. It participates in various energy-producing pathways in the body. It helps in converting food into energy.

Abf Injection may be indicated in cases where rapid restoration of thiamine is necessary, as in infantile beriberi with acute collapse. Infantile beriberi occurs in infants breastfed by mothers with an inadequate intake of thiamine.

Your doctor may advise you to follow proper dietary habits whilst on treatment with Abf Injection so the relapses will be less likely to occur with dose reduction or cessation of therapy.

About Abf Injection

Abf Injection is a vitamin supplement that is used to prevent and treat thiamine deficiency or beriberi, a deficiency related to chronic alcoholism and Wernicke-Korsakoff syndrome. Abf Injection is also used when giving IV dextrose to individuals with marginal thiamine status to prevent the precipitation of heart failure.

Abf Injection includes Thiamine (Vitamin B1), which works by giving critical nutrients to the body. Abf Injection is also appropriate in patients with established thiamine deficit who are unable to take thiamine/vitamin B1 orally due to concurrent severe anorexia, malabsorption, nausea, or vomiting.

Abf Injection will be administered by a healthcare professional; do not self-administer. In some cases, Abf Injection may cause side effects such as weakness, nausea, restlessness, sweating, and a feeling of warmth. Most of these side effects do not require medical attention and will resolve gradually over time. However, if the side effects persist or worsen, consult a doctor.

Inform the doctor if you are allergic to any of the components in Abf Injection. Consult your doctor if you are pregnant or breastfeeding. Tell your doctor if you are taking supplements, herbal products, or other medicines. Please consult your doctor if you have any concerns regarding the usage of Abf Injection in children.
