If skin irritation, redness, burning, or stinging sensation worsens at the site of application, stop using Adit 0.05% Cream and consult a doctor. If you are pregnant, planning for pregnancy, or are a nursing mother, it is advised to consult a doctor before using Adit 0.05% Cream. Avoid sun exposure, use a sunscreen lotion and wear protective clothing while going out in the sun as Adit 0.05% Cream may make the skin more sensitive to the sun. Do not apply Adit 0.05% Cream in large amounts than prescribed as it does not give quick or better results but causes peeling, marked redness, or skin discomfort. Use Adit 0.05% Cream with caution when used together with medicated or abrasive soaps, cleansers, shampoos, astringents, products with high concentrations of alcohol, electrolysis, hair depilatories, or waxes or topical medications as they may increase skin irritation.

Directions for Use

Wash your hands before and after applying Adit 0.05% Cream. Before using it, try to clean and dry the affected skin area. Applying Adit 0.05% Cream to wet skin may cause skin irritation, so try not to wash the treated area. Also do not apply other skin products for at least 1 hour after applying Adit 0.05% Cream. Wash the face with mild soap and pat the skin dry. Take a small pearl-sized amount of Adit 0.05% Cream on the fingertip and apply on the clean and dry affected area once a day in the evening. Avoid contact of Adit 0.05% Cream with nose, mouth, eyes, ears or vagina. In case Adit 0.05% Cream comes in contact with these areas accidentally, rinse with water thoroughly.

Adit 0.05% Cream belongs to the class of drugs known as retinoids (synthetic or man-made vitamin A). Adit 0.05% Cream is primarily used to treat acne (pimples) and sun-damaged skin. Acne is a skin condition that is common and occurs when hair follicles are blocked with dead skin cells and oil.

Adit 0.05% Cream contains tretinoin, also known as retinoic acid (a form of vitamin A) that loosens and unblocks pores on the skin’s surface by reducing the oil secretion in the skin. This prevents the formation of pimples, whiteheads, and blackheads.
