Adoxy LB Capsule contains Doxycycline and Lactobacillus. Doxycycline prevents the synthesis of essential proteins which are necessary for the survival of the bacteria, thereby kills the bacteria. Lactobacillus is a microorganism that helps in restoring the balance of good bacteria in the gut, which may have gotten upset due to infections or antibiotic use. Together, Adoxy LB Capsule helps in treating bacterial infections.

Adoxy LB Capsule is unlikely to cause diarrhoea as it contains lactobacillus, a friendly bacteria. Lactobacillus is a probiotic which helps in restoring the balance of good bacteria in the gut, which may have gotten upset due to infections or the use of antibiotics. Thereby helps in preventing diarrhoea.

It is recommended to complete the course of Adoxy LB Capsule even if you feel better, as it is an antibiotic. Leaving it in between may lead to even severe infection that will, in fact, stop responding to the antibiotic as well (antibiotic resistance).

Avoid taking iron supplements, calcium supplements, multivitamins, laxatives or antacids along with Adoxy LB Capsule . Maintain a gap of two hours between Adoxy LB Capsule and other medicines. However, consult your doctor before taking Adoxy LB Capsule with other medicines.

Adoxy LB Capsule contains doxycycline, which might make you sunburn more easily. Wear protective clothing, sunglasses and sunscreen whilst going outside.

About Adoxy LB Capsule

Adoxy LB Capsule belongs to a group of medications called antibiotics, used to treat bacterial infections such as urinary tract infections, intestinal infections, respiratory infections, eye infections, gum infections, and sexually transmitted infections (like gonorrhoea, syphilis). Bacterial infections are caused due to the multiplication of harmful bacteria inside or on the body. Adoxy LB Capsule does not work against infections caused by the virus, including cold and flu.

Adoxy LB Capsule contains Doxycycline and Lactobacillus. Doxycycline prevents the synthesis of essential proteins which are necessary for the survival of the bacteria, thereby kills the bacteria. Lactobacillus is a microorganism that helps in restoring the balance of good bacteria in the gut, which may have gotten upset due to infections or antibiotic use. Together, Adoxy LB Capsule helps in treating bacterial infections.

Take Adoxy LB Capsule as prescribed. You are advised to take Adoxy LB Capsule for as long as your doctor has prescribed it for you, depending on your medical condition.
