How does the drug interact with Ambristar 5 Tablet:
Taking Ambristar 5 Tablet with Lomitapide can lead to or increase the risk or severity of developing liver problems.

How to manage the interaction:
Although there is a possible interaction, Ambristar 5 Tablet can be taken with Lomitapide if prescribed by the doctor. Consult the prescriber if you experience symptoms such as fever, chills, joint pain or swelling, unusual bleeding or bruising, skin rash, itching, loss of appetite, fatigue, nausea, vomiting, abdominal pain, dark urine, pale stools, and/or yellowing of the skin or eyes. Do not discontinue any medications without consulting a doctor.
How does the drug interact with Ambristar 5 Tablet:
When Ambristar 5 Tablet is taken with cyclosporine, this increases the blood levels of Ambristar 5 Tablet. This can increase the risk of serious side effects such as liver problems, anemia, and fluid accumulation (particularly in the lungs).

How to manage the interaction:
Co-administration of ciclosporin with Ambristar 5 Tablet can result in an interaction, but it can be taken if a doctor has advised it. If you experience any of these symptoms such as fever with shivering, pain in your joints, swelling, bleeding or bruising easily, a rash or itchy skin, not feeling hungry, feeling tired, dark color urine, looking pale, dizziness, gaining weight suddenly, or breathing problem, consult a doctor. Do not stop using any medications without talking to a doctor.
