Amg 100 Tablet contains Gabapentin, Mecobalamin, and Alpha-lipoic acid. Gabapentin modulates the calcium channel activity of the brain cells, thereby decreasing pain. Mecobalamin helps rejuvenate and protect damaged nerve cells by producing a substance called myelin. Alpha-lipoic acid protects the nerve tissues and brain. Together, Amg 100 Tablet helps treat neuropathic pain.

Do not discontinue Amg 100 Tablet without consulting your doctor, as it could lead to withdrawal symptoms. To treat your condition effectually, continue taking Amg 100 Tablet for as long as prescribed. Do not be reluctant to speak with your doctor if you feel any difficulty while taking Amg 100 Tablet ; your doctor will reduce the dose gradually.

People taking Amg 100 Tablet should be closely monitored for suicidal thoughts or behaviour. Do not be reluctant to speak with your doctor immediately if you experience suicidal tendencies.

Amg 100 Tablet contains gabapentin which may interfere with laboratory test results. Inform the person doing the tests that you are taking Amg 100 Tablet .

If Amg 100 Tablet is taken along with antacid medicines containing aluminium and magnesium, it may lower the absorption of Amg 100 Tablet from the stomach. To avoid this, maintain a gap of two hours between Amg 100 Tablet and antacid medicines.

Amg 100 Tablet may cause weight gain due to an increase in appetite. Maintain a healthy weight by regular exercise and following a balanced diet.

About Amg 100 Tablet

Amg 100 Tablet is a combination medicine used to treat neuropathic pain. Neuropathic pain is a chronic progressive nerve disease that causes nerve pain due to damaged sensory nerves. Symptoms include spontaneous, untriggered pain, unpleasant feeling, shooting, burning or stabbing pain, difficulty resting or sleeping and evoked pain (pain caused by events that are usually not painful). Amg 100 Tablet may be used in the treatment of diabetic neuropathy, drug-induced neuropathy, alcoholic neuropathy, and trigeminal neuralgia.

Amg 100 Tablet contains Gabapentin (anti-convulsant), mecobalamin (vitamin B12), and alpha-lipoic acid (antioxidant). Gabapentin modulates the calcium channel activity of the brain cells, thereby decreasing pain. Mecobalamin helps rejuvenate and protect damaged nerve cells by producing a substance called myelin. Alpha-lipoic acid helps provide a protective effect on the nerve tissues and the brain. Together, Amg 100 Tablet helps provide relief from neuropathic pain caused due to nerve damage and other neurological disorders. 
 
Take Amg 100 Tablet for as long as your doctor has prescribed it for you, depending on your medical condition. In some cases, you may experience certain common side effects such as dizziness, sleepiness, tiredness, nausea and vomiting. Most of these side effects do not require medical attention and will resolve gradually over time. However, you are advised to talk to your doctor if you experience these side effects persistently.
