It binds to specific PBPs (penicillin-binding proteins) located inside the bacterial cell wall, causing the inhibition of the third and last stage of bacterial cell wall synthesis, which is necessary for their survival. Thus it kills bacteria and helps treat bacterial infections.
Avucef 500mg Injection will be administered by a healthcare professional; do not self-administer. Sometimes, Avucef 500mg Injection may cause injection site reactions, diarrhoea, nausea, vomiting, headaches and rash.
