B-Four Injection 2ml belongs to the class of nutritional supplements primarily used to treat nutritional deficiencies. Nutritional deficiency occurs when the body cannot absorb or get enough nutrients from food. It could lead to various health problems, including defective bone growth, skin disorders, digestive issues, and dementia (memory loss).

B-Four Injection 2ml contains Folic acid, Mecobalamin, and Nicotinamide. Folic acid helps form red blood cells and prevents DNA changes that may lead to cancer. Mecobalamin/Methylcobalamin/Vitamin B12 regulates body functions, such as cell multiplication, blood formation, and protein synthesis. Nicotinamide helps replenish the energy in the body cells and provides essential nutrients.

Your doctor will decide the duration based on your medical condition. Sometimes, B-Four Injection 2ml may cause common side effects like nausea, upset stomach, and diarrhoea. These side effects do not require medical attention and gradually resolve over time. However, if the side effects are persistent, please contact your doctor.

Let your doctor know if you are using prescription or non-prescription drugs and herbal products before starting B-Four Injection 2ml. If you are known to be allergic to any of the components in B-Four Injection 2ml, please inform your doctor. If you are pregnant or breastfeeding, please consult your doctor before taking B-Four Injection 2ml. Avoid alcohol absorption since it may interfere with the absorption of B-Four Injection 2ml. This injection is not recommended for newborns or infants.

Inform your doctor know if you have a medical history of bleeding problems (low platelets), diabetes, gout, liver/kidney diseases, pernicious anaemia, and stomach ulcer problems. Pregnant or breastfeeding women should consult their doctor before taking B-Four Injection 2ml. Excessive alcohol consumption reduces the absorption and increases the elimination of folic acid. It is not recommended to consume alcohol while being treated with B-Four Injection 2ml.

Drug-Drug Interaction: B-Four Injection 2ml may interact with blood thinners (warfarin), antibiotics (chloramphenicol, tetracycline), gout medicine (colchicine), anti-diabetics (metformin), anti-ulcer drugs (cimetidine, omeprazole), anti-cancer drugs (methotrexate), fits medicines (phenytoin), chemotherapy medicines (raltitrexed), and antiparasitics (pyrimethamine).

Drug-Food Interaction: Excessive alcohol consumption reduces absorption and increases the elimination of folic acid. Hence, please avoid alcohol while using B-Four Injection 2ml.

Drug-Disease Interaction: Use B-Four Injection 2ml with medical advice if you have malabsorption syndrome (difficulty absorbing nutrition from food), diabetes, gout, liver/kidney diseases, stomach ulcers, and allergic reactions to medicines.

• Try Vitamin B complex food sources like milk, cheese, eggs, liver and kidney, chicken, red meat, tuna, mackerel, salmon, shellfish, oysters, clams, dark green vegetables such as spinach and kale, beets, avocados, potatoes, whole grains, cereals, kidney beans, black beans, and chickpea.
• Try folate-rich food sources like broccoli, Brussels sprouts, leafy green vegetables, cabbage, kale, spring greens, spinach, peas, chickpeas, kidney beans, and breakfast cereals fortified with folic acid.
• Sprinkle sunflower seeds over your food, vegetables and salads. 
• Include fruits like citrus, banana, and watermelon in your diet.
• Avoid smoking and alcohol consumption.
• Exercise regularly and maintain a healthy lifestyle. Avoid excess fatty foods.
