Breath Syrup contains Salbutamol, Guaifenesin, and Bromhexine. Salbutamol relaxes and widens the muscles in the airways. Diarrhoea could be a side-effect of Breath Syrup. Drink plenty of fluids and eat non-spicy meals if you experience diarrhoea. Consult your doctor if you have severe diarrhoea.

About Breath Syrup

Breath Syrup belongs to a group of medicines called expectorants and cough products used to provide relief from cough. Coughing (dry or productive) is a body's way of clearing irritants (like allergens, mucus or smoke) from airways thereby prevents respiratory infection. Cough is commonly caused as a response to allergy or viral infection but coughing up mucus is possibly an indication of infection in the respiratory tract.
 
Breath Syrup is a combination of three drugs, namely: Salbutamol (bronchodilator), Guaifenesin (expectorant) and Bromhexine (mucolytic). Salbutamol relaxes and widens the muscles in the airways. Guaifenesin decreases the stickiness of mucus, thereby facilitating its removal. Bromhexine loosens and thins the mucus, making it easier to cough out phlegm.
