Calcidef Tablet contains Elemental Calcium, Folic acid, Glycine and Vitamin D2. Elemental Calcium strengthens bones and reduces weakness. Does Calcidef Tablet cause constipation?

Calcidef Tablet may cause constipation as a mild and temporary side effect. However, if the condition persists or worsens, please consult a doctor.

Can I take Calcidef Tablet with phenytoin?

You are not recommended to take Calcidef Tablet with phenytoin as co-administration of these two medicines may reduce the levels of Calcidef Tablet in blood and increase the risk of seizures (fits). However, if you are supposed to use these medicines together, please consult a doctor so that the dose may be adjusted appropriately to use safely.

Is Calcidef Tablet safe for dialysis patients?

Calcidef Tablet should be used with caution and in doses as advised by a doctor in dialysis patients with kidney failure. However, it is advised to inform your doctor if you are undergoing dialysis before taking Calcidef Tablet .

Can I take antacids with Calcidef Tablet ?
