Co-administration of Calorich-HB Capsule with Ketoconazole may decrease the effects of Ketoconazole.

Although there is an interaction, Calorich-HB Capsule can be taken with Ketoconazole if prescribed by the doctor. However, maintain a gap of 2 or more hours between both medicines. Do not discontinue the medication without consulting a doctor.

Consult the prescriber if you experience symptoms such as metabolic alkalosis like nausea, vomiting, tremor, muscle twitching, lightheadedness, numbness or tingling, prolonged muscle spasms, slowed breathing, irregular heartbeat, and confusion. Co-administration of Dolutegravir with Calorich-HB Capsule can reduce the effectiveness of dolutegravir.

Malabsorption may decrease the absorption of calcium acetate.

How does the disease interact with Calorich-HB Capsule:
Renal impairment Calcium elimination through the kidney is decreased in renal impairment patients. Hyperphosphatemia may occur during renal failure. Calorich-HB Capsule can correct metabolic acidosis to some extent which is associated with chronic kidney disease. Closely monitoring for renal function, serum calcium, and phosphate concentrations is recommended.

How to manage the interaction:
Absorption of oral calcium formulations may be altered and elimination of Calorich-HB Capsule by the kidney may decrease in patients with renal impairment. Clinical monitoring of renal function and serum calcium and phosphate concentrations is advised.

How does the disease interact with Calorich-HB Capsule:
sarcoidosis In patients with sarcoidosis, sometimes hypercalciuria, with or without hypercalcemia, may occur. Elevated calcium levels may be caused by increased intestinal calcium absorption, which is linked to extrarenal vitamin D synthesis by mononuclear phagocytes present within the sarcoid granuloma. Use Calorich-HB Capsule only if necessary in case of sarcoidosis with caution.

How to manage the interaction:
Hypercalciuria (excessive urinary calcium excretion), with or without hypercalcemia (high calcium levels), may occasionally occur in patients with sarcoidosis. Therapy with Calorich-HB Capsule should be administered cautiously and only if necessary in patients with sarcoidosis.
