Do not use Candifung-V Gel if you are hypersensitive or allergic to any of its components. Candifung-V Gel is for vaginal use only. Do not swallow. If you are pregnant, planning to have a baby, or are a nursing mother, you should not use Candifung-V Gel without a doctor's advice. You should not use tampons and other vaginal products while using Candifung-V Gel. It is also not recommended to use Candifung-V Gel during your menstrual period (menses); wait until your period is over. During treatment, vaginal medications frequently leak out of the vagina. You may wear a mini-pad or sanitary napkin to prevent the medicine from staining your clothes.

Directions for Use

Vaginal cream/gel: Please read the instruction leaflet before using it. Take the advised amount of cream/gel and apply gently with a clean hand or an applicator on the affected area. Candifung-V Gel comprises clotrimazole that works by destroying the fungus that causes the infection. Candifung-V Gel eliminates the infection by causing holes in the fungal cell membrane and allows the components to leak out, thus killing the fungus.

Use Candifung-V Gel as recommended by the physician. In some cases, Candifung-V Gel may cause abdominal pain, vulvovaginal pain, nausea, and application site reactions including itching, burning sensation, and irritation.
