Cefto LB Tablet

Cefto LB Tablet belongs to a class of medication called antibiotics used to treat bacterial infections of the urinary tract, blood, bones, joints, heart, lungs, brain, chest, ears, skin, or soft tissues. A bacterial infection is a condition in which harmful bacteria grow in the body and cause infection. It can infect any part of the body and multiply very quickly. Cefto LB Tablet does not work against infections caused by the virus.

Cefto LB Tablet contains Cefuroxime (antibiotic) and Lactobacillus (probiotic). Cefuroxime works by interfering with the formation of the bacterial cell wall (a protective covering) necessary for survival. Thereby damaging the bacterial cell wall and killing bacteria. Lactobacillus helps to restore good bacteria in the intestines. Thereby, it prevents diarrhoea and loss of beneficial bacteria due to the prolonged intake of antibiotics.

You are advised to take Cefto LB Tablet for as long as your doctor has prescribed it for you, depending on your medical condition. Cefto LB Tablet may cause side effects like nausea, vomiting, bloating, diarrhoea, allergic reaction, and increased liver enzymes. Most of these side effects of Cefto LB Tablet do not require medical attention and gradually resolve over time. However, if the side effects persist or worsen, please consult your doctor.

Please tell your doctor if you are allergic to Cefto LB Tablet , penicillins, cephalosporin antibiotics, or any other medicines. If you are pregnant or breastfeeding, inform your doctor before taking Cefto LB Tablet . Cefto LB Tablet is not recommended for infants below six months of age as the safety and effectiveness were not established. Drive only if you are alert, as Cefto LB Tablet may cause dizziness. People with liver and kidney problems should take Cefto LB Tablet with caution.

If you have diabetes, kidney or liver problems, a weak immune system, or inflammation of the large intestine, inform your doctor before taking Cefto LB Tablet . If you are pregnant or breastfeeding, consult a doctor before taking Cefto LB Tablet . Cefto LB Tablet is not recommended for babies below three months of age, as the safety and effectiveness were not established. Drive only if you are alert, as Cefto LB Tablet may cause dizziness.
