Cefupop 200mg/500mg Tablet XL is a combination of two antibiotics, namely: Cefixime and Dicloxacillin. Cefupop 200mg/500mg Tablet XL works by interfering with the formation of the bacterial cell wall (a protective covering) that is necessary for their survival. Thereby damages the bacterial cell wall and kills bacteria.
Take Cefupop 200mg/500mg Tablet XL as prescribed by your doctor. You are advised to take Cefupop 200mg/500mg Tablet XL for as long as your doctor has prescribed it for you based on your medical condition. You may experience vomiting, nausea, diarrhea, stomach pain, indigestion, or vaginal itching in some cases. Most of these side effects of Cefupop 200mg/500mg Tablet XL do not require medical attention and gradually resolve over time. However, if the side effects persist or worsen, please consult your doctor.
