Citimac M Tablet belongs to a group of medicines called central nervous system agents used as cognitive enhancers. It contains Citicoline and Methylcobalamin. Citicoline is a nerve protecting medicine that works on the brain by nourishing the nerve cells, protects them from damage, and improving their survival. Methylcobalamin is a form of vitamin B that works by lowering the levels of homocysteine, a harmful protein that increases blood clot formation and damages blood vessels in the brain.
Diarrhoea could be a side effect of Citimac M Tablet . Drink plenty of water and eat high-fibre meals if you have diarrhoea. If you notice any blood in your faeces (stools) or have severe diarrhoea with stomach pain, stop taking Citimac M Tablet and see your doctor. You should not take anti-diarrheal medication on your own.
Nerves are damaged by high blood sugar, and these nerves may stop sending messages to various regions of your body. Nerve injury affects about half of all people with diabetes.
Although Citimac M Tablet is used to treat nerve damage in older people, it should be used under the supervision of medical practitioners only.
In most cases, nerve damage can occur in your arms, feet, and hands are the most likely to be affected. Thus, it may lead to numbness or tingling in the hands and feet.

In some cases, Citimac M Tablet may cause common side effects such as irregular heartbeats, stomach pain, decreased blood pressure, and diarrhoea. Most of these side effects of Citimac M Tablet subside with time. However, if these side effects are persistent, consult your healthcare professional.
