Clavert-D Tablet contains Cinnarizine and Dimenhydrinate. Cinnarizine prevents the narrowing of the blood vessels in the ear; this improves the blood flow in the ear. Dimenhydrinate works by blocking the action of a chemical messenger known as histamine, thus prevents problems with loss of balance.

Dry mouth could be a side-effect of Clavert-D Tablet. Limiting caffeine intake, avoiding smoking and mouthwashes containing alcohol, drinking water regularly, and chewing sugar-free gum/candy might stimulate saliva and prevent drying of the mouth.

Talk to your doctor before taking Clavert-D Tablet with anti-hypertensive medicines along with Clavert-D Tablet as Clavert-D Tablet might lower their effect. Regular monitoring of blood pressure levels is advised while taking Clavert-D Tablet.

Please do not stop taking Clavert-D Tablet on your own as it might cause recurring symptoms. Continue taking Clavert-D Tablet for as long as your doctor prescribes it. Do not be reluctant to speak with your doctor if you experience any difficulty while taking Clavert-D Tablet.

Consult your doctor before taking Clavert-D Tablet if you have glaucoma (raised pressure in the eye). Do not take Clavert-D Tablet if you have angle-closure glaucoma (a specific type of eye disease).

About Clavert-D Tablet

Clavert-D Tablet belongs to a group of anti-vertigo drugs used to treat the symptoms of vertigo, such as dizziness, spinning sensation, nausea, and vomiting. Clavert-D Tablet can help you to carry out daily activities that are difficult when you have vertigo. Vertigo is a sudden external or internal spinning sensation that causes dizziness. It creates a false sense that you or your surroundings are moving or spinning.

Clavert-D Tablet contains Cinnarizine (calcium antagonist) and Dimenhydrinate (antihistamine). Cinnarizine prevents the narrowing of the blood vessels in the ear; this improves the blood flow in the ear. Dimenhydrinate works by blocking the action of a chemical messenger known as histamine, thereby preventing problems with loss of balance. Together, Clavert-D Tablet helps in reducing the symptoms of vertigo.

You are advised to take Clavert-D Tablet for as long as your doctor has prescribed it for you, depending on your medical condition.
