Do not stop taking COFTON SF on your own as it may worsen cough or cause recurring symptoms. Therefore, take COFTON SF for as long as your doctor has prescribed it. If you experience any difficulty while taking COFTON SF , please consult your doctor.

COFTON SF contains Chlorpheniramine maleate, an antihistamine that helps in treating an allergy. It helps in providing relief from a runny nose, watery eyes, sneezing and sore throat.

COFTON SF should not be taken for longer durations unless prescribed by the doctor. If your condition does not improve despite taking COFTON SF for a week, consult your doctor, he/she may prescribe an alternate medicine.

COFTON SF contains chlorpheniramine maleate, an antihistamine. Therefore, do not take any other antihistamine-containing products such as cold and cough medicines along with COFTON SF .

About COFTON SF

COFTON SF is used to provide relief from cough. Coughing (dry or productive) is a body's way of clearing irritants (like allergens, mucus, or smoke) from airways thereby preventing respiratory infection. Cough is commonly caused as a response to allergy or viral infection but coughing up mucus is possibly an indication of infection in the respiratory tract.
