Coriminic LS JR Syrup contains Levosalbutamol, Ambroxol and Guaiphenesin. Levosalbutamol relaxes muscles and widens the airways of the lungs. About Coriminic LS JR Syrup
Coriminic LS JR Syrup belongs to the class of medicines called 'expectorants' primarily used to treat cough associated with mucus. Coughing (dry or productive) is the body's way of clearing irritants (like allergens, mucus or smoke) from airways and preventing infection. There are two types of coughs, namely: dry cough and chesty cough. A dry cough is tickly and doesn't produce any vicious or thick mucus, while a chesty cough (wet cough) produces mucous or sputum.
Coriminic LS JR Syrup is a combination of three drugs, namely Levosalbutamol, Ambroxol, and Guaiphenesin. Levosalbutamol works by relaxing muscles and widening the airways of the lungs. Ambroxol works by thinning and loosening phlegm (mucus) in the lungs, windpipe, and nose. Thereby, helps to cough out phlegm easily. Guaiphenesin increases the volume of fluid in the airways, reduces the stickiness of mucus, and helps to remove it from the airways. Together, Coriminic LS JR Syrup helps provide relief from cough.
Your doctor will recommend the dose and duration of Coriminic LS JR Syrup based on your medical condition. Some people may experience certain common side effects such as nausea, vomiting, drowsiness, headache, dizziness, skin rash, tremor, stomach upset and diarrhoea. Most of these side effects of Coriminic LS JR Syrup do not require medical attention and gradually resolve over time. However, if the side effects persist or worsen, please consult your doctor.
Do not take Coriminic LS JR Syrup if you are allergic to any of its components. Consult your doctor if you are pregnant or breastfeeding. Coriminic LS JR Syrup may cause dizziness and drowsiness, so drive or operate machinery only if you are alert. Coriminic LS JR Syrup should be given to children only if prescribed by the doctor. Keep your doctor informed about your health condition and medications to rule out any interactions/side effects.
