Ctm V 100mg Pessaries belongs to the class of medications known as antifungals, primarily used to treat vaginal thrush (candidiasis). Vaginal thrush (candidiasis) is an infection of the vagina and/or vulva caused by candida.
Ctm V 100mg Pessaries comprises clotrimazole that works by destroying the fungus that causes the infection. Ctm V 100mg Pessaries eliminates the infection by causing holes in the fungal cell membrane and allows the components to leak out, thus killing the fungus.
Use Ctm V 100mg Pessaries as recommended by the physician. In some cases, Ctm V 100mg Pessaries may cause abdominal pain, vulvovaginal pain, nausea, and application site reactions including itching, burning sensation, and irritation. These side effects of Ctm V 100mg Pessaries eventually subside without medical intervention. Consult your doctor immediately if any side effects worsen or persist.
Do not use Ctm V 100mg Pessaries if you are hypersensitive or allergic to any of its components. Ctm V 100mg Pessaries is for vaginal use only. Do not swallow. If you are pregnant, planning to have a baby, or are a nursing mother, you should not use Ctm V 100mg Pessaries without a doctor's advice. Tampons and other vaginal products should not be used while on treatment with Ctm V 100mg Pessaries. Avoid using Ctm V 100mg Pessaries during the menstrual period (menses); wait until menses is over.
