Amoebic dysentery can be caused due to entamoeba histolytica, giardia lamblia or clostridium difficile. Diarrhea is the increase in bowel movement leading to increased and loose motions.

Dependal M Syrup is a combination of two antibiotics that include furazolidone and metronidazole. Dependal M Syrup contains flurazolidone works by interfering with the protein synthesis, a mechanism which is important for survival of bacteria. Take Dependal M Syrup as prescribed by your doctor. Your doctor will recommend how often you take Dependal M Syrup based on your medical condition. Some people may experience nausea, dryness in the mouth, headache, metallic taste, and dark yellow to brown discoloration of urine. Most of these side effects of Dependal M Syrup do not require medical attention and gradually resolve over time. However, if the side effects persist or worsen, please consult your doctor.

Dependal M Syrup should not be taken if you are allergic to Dependal M Syrup or any other contents present in it. Dependal M Syrup may cause convulsions (rapid contraction and relaxation of body muscles), if you observe these symptoms immediately contact your doctor. Discontinue the Dependal M Syrup if any signs of low blood count observed. Immediately inform your doctor if you experience swelling of the face, tongue, throat, itchy rash or breathing difficulties while taking this Dependal M Syrup. Dependal M Syrup is safely given to children above one month year of age. You should consult a doctor if you have symptoms associated with dehydration like dry mouth, excessive thirst, wrinkled skin, little or no urination, dizziness and lightheadedness.
