About DIAVAS 2MG TABLET

DIAVAS 2MG TABLET is a combination medicine used to treat type 2 diabetes mellitus associated with dyslipidaemia. DIAVAS 2MG TABLET has both lipid and glucose-lowering effects; this helps in lowering blood triglycerides and blood glucose levels as well.

DIAVAS 2MG TABLET contains Atorvastatin, Glimepiride and Metformin. Atorvastatin raises good cholesterol and lowers bad cholesterol. Metformin aids the better use of existing insulin by decreasing the absorption and production of sugar in the body. Glimepiride lowers blood glucose by increasing the amount of insulin released by the pancreas.

In some cases, you may experience side effects such as nausea, diarrhoea, stomach pain, headache, muscle pain, and weakness. Most of these side effects do not require medical attention and will resolve gradually over time. However, you are recommended to consult your doctor if the side effects persist or worsen.

Do not take DIAVAS 2MG TABLET if you are allergic to any of its components. Consult your doctor if you are pregnant or breastfeeding. Keep your doctor informed about all the medications you are taking and your health condition to rule out any unpleasant side effects/interactions.
