Dipara Gel 30 gm is a combination of four drugs: Diclofenac, Linseed Oil, Methyl Salicylate, and Menthol. Diclofenac and Methyl Salicylate are non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs) which work by blocking the release of certain chemical messengers that cause pain and inflammation. Linseed oil possesses an anti-inflammatory action that inhibits inflammatory mediators like leukotrienes, thereby reducing inflammation. Menthol is a soothing and cooling agent which provides a cooling sensation by dilating the blood vessels, followed by an analgesic effect. It also enhances the penetration of drugs. Together, Dipara Gel 30 gm helps relieve mild to moderate pain in musculoskeletal and joint conditions.

About Dipara Gel 30 gm

Dipara Gel 30 gm belongs to the class of medications called topical analgesics primarily used to relieve acute musculoskeletal pain and osteoarthritis. It effectively reduces pain, swelling, and joint stiffness, thereby improving your ability to move and flex the joint. Osteoarthritis is a long term musculoskeletal joint disorder that causes damage to the cartilage and surrounding tissues characterized by pain, swelling, stiffness, and loss of function.

Dipara Gel 30 gm contains diclofenac, linseed oil, methyl salicylate, and menthol. Diclofenac and methyl salicylate work by lowering hormones in the body that cause inflammation and pain. Linseed oil inhibits inflammatory mediators like leukotrienes, thereby reducing inflammation. Menthol is a soothing and cooling agent which provides a cooling sensation by dilating the blood vessels. Together, Dipara Gel 30 gm helps relieve mild to moderate pain in musculoskeletal and joint conditions.

Dipara Gel 30 gm is only for external use. Use Dipara Gel 30 gm for as long as your doctor has prescribed it for you based on your medical condition. In some cases, you may experience common side effects such as itching, irritation, redness, and burning sensation at the application site. The majority of these side effects do not necessitate medical attention and will subside gradually over time. However, if you are experiencing these side effects regularly, you should consult your doctor.

Please do not use Dipara Gel 30 gm without doctor advice if you had a skin reaction or irritation to any medicine. Consult your doctor if you are pregnant or breastfeeding. Do not use Dipara Gel 30 gm in more than prescribed doses or longer duration as it may cause adverse effects. Do not apply external heat or cover the treated skin with dressings after applying Dipara Gel 30 gm. Avoid wearing clothes or gloves for at least 10minutes after applying Dipara Gel 30 gm.

Dipara Gel 30 gm should not be used on broken or open wounds, infections, or severely peeling skin.
