About Divagest-100 Injection 2 ml

Divagest-100 Injection 2 ml belongs to the class of drugs called female hormones. It treats various medical conditions, including early pregnancy maintenance, dysfunctional uterine bleeding, and threatened abortion. Besides this, it can also be used for the progesterone withdrawal test in the endocrinal evaluation of secondary amenorrhoea (paused or missed periods) to judge oestrogen priming.

Divagest-100 Injection 2 ml will be administered by a healthcare professional; do not self-administer. In some cases, you may experience injection site reactions, rash or any other allergy, changes in the breast, darkening of facial skin, scalp hair loss, coarsening of hair in abnormal regions, nausea, fever, and sleep disturbances. It is used to maintain early pregnancy in cases of documented history of repeated miscarriages due to luteal phase defect and in selected cases as an adjunct to successful infertility treatment with techniques such as in vitro fertilisation (IVF) or gamete intra-fallopian transfer (GIFT) to facilitate uterine implantation of the fertilised ovum.
