DOPAN 200MG INJECTION 5ML belongs to a class of medicines called vasopressors used to treat low blood pressure or shock after a heart attack, trauma (injury), blood poisoning or kidney failure. Also, it may be used in people with congestive heart failure (heart failure due to build-up of blood or fluid) to help the heart pump better. Hypotension (low blood pressure) is a condition in which the blood flows through the blood vessels at lower than normal pressures.

DOPAN 200MG INJECTION 5ML contains Dopamine that works by increasing blood flow to the muscles and increasing the pumping efficiency of the heart. Also, it increases blood flow to the kidneys.

DOPAN 200MG INJECTION 5ML will be administered by a healthcare professional; do not self-administer. Sometimes, DOPAN 200MG INJECTION 5ML may cause common side effects such as headache, nausea, shortness of breath, chest pain or irregular heartbeat. Most of these side effects of DOPAN 200MG INJECTION 5ML do not require medical attention and gradually resolve over time. However, if the side effects persist, please consult your doctor.

DOPAN 200MG INJECTION 5ML is not recommended for children as safety and effectiveness were not established. If you have a history of blood circulation problems, inform your doctor, as you will be monitored for any changes in the colour or temperature of your fingers or toes.
