Eukroma SG Cream contains Hydroquinone, Octyl methoxycinnamate and Oxybenzone. Hydroquinone is a skin lightening agent that works by decreasing the amount of melanin (a skin pigment) that is responsible for the darkening of the skin. Octyl methoxycinnamate and Oxybenzone absorbs UV (ultraviolet) rays from the sun and protects the skin from sun damage. Together, Eukroma SG Cream lightens dark spots on the skin and protects from the harmful effects of UV rays.
Eukroma SG Cream may cause skin irritation, burning sensation or itching at the site of application. However, if the irritation persists or worsens, stop using Eukroma SG Cream and consult a doctor.

About Eukroma SG Cream
Eukroma SG Cream is a combination medicine used in the treatment of hyperpigmentation and melasma (a type of skin problem). Hyperpigmentation is a common condition in which patches of skin become darker than the normal surrounding skin. Melasma also known as chloasma, is a common skin condition that causes brown patches on the face. It is more common in women than men. The discoloured (grey-brown) patches occur mostly on the forehead, chin, nose, and cheeks.
Eukroma SG Cream is a combination of three drugs, namely: Hydroquinone (skin-lightening agent), Octyl methoxycinnamate, and Oxybenzone (organic compounds). Hydroquinone belongs to the class of skin-lightening agents that works by decreasing the amount of melanin (a skin pigment) that is responsible for the darkening of the skin. Octyl methoxycinnamate and Oxybenzone work by absorbing UV (ultraviolet) rays from the sun and protects the skin from sun damage.
Eukroma SG Cream is only for external use. Use Eukroma SG Cream as prescribed by your doctor. You are advised to use Eukroma SG Cream for as long as your doctor has prescribed it for you based on your medical condition. In some cases, you may experience redness, irritation, itching, burning, or stinging sensation of the skin. Most of these side effects of Eukroma SG Cream do not require medical attention and gradually resolve over time. However, if the side effects persist or worsen, please consult your doctor.
If you are allergic to Eukroma SG Cream or any other medicines, please tell your doctor. If you are pregnant, a nursing mother, or planning for pregnancy, it is advised to consult a doctor before using Eukroma SG Cream. Eukroma SG Cream is not recommended for children below 12 years of age unless prescribed by a doctor. Do not apply Eukroma SG Cream on open wounds, dry, sunburned, windburned, chapped, or irritated skin. Avoid sun exposure while using Eukroma SG Cream as it may make skin more sensitive to sunlight and cause sunburn. Wear protective clothing and use sunscreen while going out to protect your skin from sunburn.
