Faconex Plus 25mg/75mg Injection contains Diclofenac and Paracetamol. Diclofenac works by blocking the action of a chemical messenger known as cyclooxygenase (COX), which causes pain and swelling at the injured or damaged tissue site. On the other hand, paracetamol enhances the pain relief action of Diclofenac.
Faconex Plus 25mg/75mg Injection may increase the risk of a heart attack in people with pre-existing heart conditions if used for prolonged periods. It is also not suitable for treating pain after heart surgery. Use it for the duration as long as your doctor prescribed. It is not recommended for use in patients with heart complications.
Faconex Plus 25mg/75mg Injection is not recommended for patients with a known allergy to pain relievers (NSAIDs) or any of the components or excipients in Faconex Plus 25mg/75mg Injection. Faconex Plus 25mg/75mg Injection should be avoided in patients with a history of stomach ulcers or an ongoing, recurring stomach ulcer/bleeding. It should also be avoided in patients with a history of heart or liver failure and renal illness (Chronic Kidney Disease Grade 5) and during the last trimester of pregnancy.
Faconex Plus 25mg/75mg Injection can be used to treat several painful conditions, including pain caused by kidney stones. Consult your doctor if you have any concerns.
Taking anti-inflammatory medications, such as Diclofenac, in excessive dosages or for an extended period of time can interfere with ovulation in women. This may make it more difficult to conceive. Talk to your doctor if you have any concerns.

Breast Feeding

Faconex Plus 25mg/75mg Injection may cause common side effects such as headache, dizziness, vertigo, nausea, vomiting, diarrhoea, dyspepsia, abdominal pain, flatulence, decreased appetite, and injection site reactions such as local pain and induration. Most of these side effects do not require medical attention and will resolve gradually over time. However, you are advised to talk to your doctor if you experience these side effects persistently.

Let your doctor know if you have/had liver or kidney problems; your doctor may need to monitor your liver function.
