Feriark-100Mg Inj 5Ml belongs to the class of 'iron replacement products,' primarily used to treat iron deficiency anaemia in people with long-term kidney diseases. Iron deficiency anaemia is a condition in which the body does not have enough red blood cells for carrying adequate oxygen required to various body tissues due to insufficient iron. 

Feriark-100Mg Inj 5Ml contains Iron Sucrose that belongs to the class of 'haematinics'. Iron is a nutritional supplement required by the red blood cells to carry oxygen to other body cells and tissues. Feriark-100Mg Inj 5Ml works by restoring the iron levels in the body. It also improves the quality of blood by increasing levels of haemoglobin (blood protein) and red blood cells.

Your doctor will decide the dosage based on your medical condition. In some cases, it may cause side effects like muscle cramps, nausea, vomiting, taste changes, diarrhoea, constipation, headache, cough, back pain, flu symptoms, joint pain, dizziness, and swelling of the arms and legs. Most of these side effects of Feriark-100Mg Inj 5Ml do not require medical attention and gradually resolve over time. However, if these side effects persist longer, please consult your doctor.

Pregnant and breastfeeding women should consult the doctor before starting Feriark-100Mg Inj 5Ml. Feriark-100Mg Inj 5Ml may cause dizziness, hence drive or operate machinery with caution. Feriark-100Mg Inj 5Ml is recommended in children above two years of age when prescribed by the doctor.

Feriark-100Mg Inj 5Ml should be used during pregnancy only when advised by your doctor. Feriark-100Mg Inj 5Ml is excreted into the breast milk, hence consult your doctor before using Feriark-100Mg Inj 5Ml if you are a breastfeeding mother. Feriark-100Mg Inj 5Ml can make you feel dizzy, hence drive or operate machinery only when you are alert. Drinking alcohol can affect iron absorption; therefore, it is advised to avoid alcohol intake while using Feriark-100Mg Inj 5Ml. Feriark-100Mg Inj 5Ml is safe to use in children above two years of age when prescribed by the doctor. Do not store Feriark-100Mg Inj 5Ml above 25°C.
