Flexabenz Gel belongs to the class of medications called topical analgesics primarily used to relieve acute musculoskeletal pain and osteoarthritis. It effectively reduces pain, swelling, and joint stiffness, thereby improving your ability to move and flex the joint. Osteoarthritis is a long term musculoskeletal joint disorder that causes damage to the cartilage and surrounding tissues characterized by pain, swelling, stiffness, and loss of function.

Flexabenz Gel contains diclofenac sodium, linseed oil, methyl salicylate, menthol, and cyclobenzaprine hydrochloride. Diclofenac sodium and methyl salicylate work by lowering hormones in the body that cause inflammation and pain. Cyclobenzaprine hydrochloride acts on the brain and nervous system to relax the muscles. Linseed oil inhibits inflammatory mediators like leukotrienes, thereby reducing inflammation. Menthol is a soothing and cooling agent which provides a cooling sensation by dilating the blood vessels. Together, Flexabenz Gel helps relieve mild to moderate pain in musculoskeletal and joint conditions.

Flexabenz Gel is only for external use. Use Flexabenz Gel for as long as your doctor has prescribed it for you based on your medical condition. In some cases, you may experience common side effects such as itching, irritation, redness, and burning sensation at the application site. The majority of these side effects do not necessitate medical attention and will subside gradually over time. However, if you are experiencing these side effects regularly, you should consult your doctor.

Please do not use Flexabenz Gel without doctor advice if you had a skin reaction or irritation to any medicine. Consult your doctor if you are pregnant or breastfeeding. Do not use Flexabenz Gel in more than prescribed doses or longer duration as it may cause adverse effects. Keep your doctor informed about your health condition and all the medicines to rule out any side effects. Do not take any other NSAID's for pain relief along with Flexabenz Gel unless prescribed. Flexabenz Gel is not recommended for children below 14years as safety and efficacy have not been established.

Menthol is a soothing and cooling agent which provides a cooling sensation by dilating the blood vessels, followed by an analgesic effect. It also enhances the penetration of drugs. Together, Flexabenz Gel helps provide relief from mild to moderate pain in musculoskeletal and joint conditions.

Do not take Flexabenz Gel if you are allergic to any of its contents. Keep your doctor informed about your health condition and all the medicines you take to rule out any side effects. Do not use Flexabenz Gel if you experience asthma, urticaria or allergy after taking a pain killer. Do not take any other pain killers for pain relief along with Flexabenz Gel unless prescribed. Consult your doctor before starting Flexabenz Gel if you are pregnant or breastfeeding. • Do not apply on open wounds, cuts, abrasions or infected wounds.
• Do not apply any bandages after application of Flexabenz Gel unless suggested by your doctor.
• Avoid contact of Flexabenz Gel with eyes and mucous membranes.
