Flumet Gel 15 gm belongs to the class of medicines called 'antifungals' used to treat fungal skin infections. Fungal infection occurs when a fungus invades and affects the tissue on the skin. Symptoms of a fungal infection include skin rash, irritation, redness and scaling of the skin. 

Flumet Gel 15 gm contains 'Fluconazole' that kills or prevents fungi or yeast by inhibiting an enzyme in fungi responsible for its normal fat metabolism; this interferes with the formation of the fungal cell membrane. As a result, fungal or yeast cells get killed or their growth is minimized.

Flumet Gel 15 gm is for external use only. Use Flumet Gel 15 gm as prescribed by your doctor. Flumet Gel 15 gm may cause common side effects like itching, dryness, redness, and burning sensation at the application site. These side effects are not familiar to everyone and vary individually. If you notice any side effects that are not manageable, please consult your doctor.
