Folineo D Tablet is a vitamin supplement and consists of Docosahexaenoic acid, L-Methylfolate, Pyridoxal-5-phosphate (vitamin B6), and Methylcobalamin (vitamin B12). When you lack these vitamins in your body, which cannot be recovered even with the food sources, Folineo D Tablet helps replenish these deficient levels. Collectively, Folineo D Tablet treats nutritional deficiencies.

It is important to tell your doctor if you have malabsorption syndrome (difficulty absorbing nutrition from food) since it may be hard to absorb vitamins through oral administration. Your doctor may suggest other dosage forms in such cases.

Pyridoxal-5-phosphate/Pyridoxine in Folineo D Tablet may interfere with laboratory tests like urine tests for urobilinogen. Please make sure that the doctor and the laboratory staff know that you take Folineo D Tablet before undergoing blood and urine examinations.

About Folineo D Tablet

Folineo D Tablet belongs to the class of nutritional supplements, primarily used to treat nutritional deficiencies. It is used to treat and prevent vitamin B6 deficiency, folate deficiency, and vitamin B12 deficiency. Nutritional deficiency occurs when the body is unable to absorb or get enough nutrients from food. It could lead to various health problems, including defective bone growth, anaemia, skin disorders, digestive issues, nerve disorders, and dementia (memory loss).

Folineo D Tablet contains Docosahexaenoic acid, L-Methylfolate, Pyridoxal-5-phosphate, and Methylcobalamin. Docosahexaenoic acid (DHA) is an omega fatty acid that controls cholesterol levels and thus improves cardiovascular health. L-Methylfolate helps in the formation of red blood cells and prevents DNA changes that may lead to cancer. Pyridoxal-5-phosphate/Pyridoxine (vitamin B6) is involved in protein, fat, and carbohydrate metabolism, the formation of red blood cells and neurotransmitters. Methylcobalamin/Mecobalamin/Vitamin B12 regulates body functions, such as cell multiplication, blood formation, and protein synthesis.
