Gantra 5 mg Tablet 14's belongs to the class of medications called soluble guanylate cyclase (sGC) stimulators. It is used to reduce the risk of death and the need for hospitalization in adults with heart failure. Heart failure is a condition in which the heart is unable to pump blood as effectively as it should.

Gantra 5 mg Tablet 14's contains Vericiguat, which works by relaxing the blood vessels in the lungs to allow blood to flow easily.

Use Gantra 5 mg Tablet 14's exactly as prescribed by the healthcare professional. Sometimes, Gantra 5 mg Tablet 14's may cause hypotension, anaemia, dizziness and light-headedness. Most of these side effects are temporary, do not require medical attention, and gradually resolve over time. However, if the side effects persist or worsen, contact your doctor.

Before taking Gantra 5 mg Tablet 14's, inform your doctor about all your allergic or hypersensitivity reactions to medicines or food. Gantra 5 mg Tablet 14's can cause fetal harm when administered to a pregnant woman. It is critical not to become pregnant while undergoing therapy and for one month after the treatment. Using effective contraceptive methods is recommended while on therapy with Gantra 5 mg Tablet 14's. Contact your doctor immediately if you or your partner becomes pregnant while undergoing therapy. Breastfeeding is usually not advised during this treatment. Safety and effectiveness in children have not been established.

Before taking Gantra 5 mg Tablet 14's, let your doctor know about all your allergic or hypersensitivity reactions to medicines or food. Do not use Gantra 5 mg Tablet 14's and any medication for erectile dysfunction (male impotence) simultaneously. Please check with your doctor before using Gantra 5 mg Tablet 14's if you have/had anaemia, low blood pressure, or any severe medical illness. Before starting Gantra 5 mg Tablet 14's, inform your doctor about your medical history and ongoing therapies to rule out potential adverse effects or interactions.
