GB-Cin Ophthalmic Solution belongs to the class of aminoglycoside antibiotics. It is used for the treatment of bacterial eye infections. Bacterial eye infection occurs when harmful bacteria invade any eye part, such as the eyeball, conjunctiva, or cornea.
GB-Cin Ophthalmic Solution contains tobramycin, an antibiotic that works by killing the infection-causing bacteria. Thus GB-Cin Ophthalmic Solution treats bacterial eye infections.
Use GB-Cin Ophthalmic Solution as prescribed by your doctor. The common side-effects of GB-Cin Ophthalmic Solution are eye irritation, feeling of having something in the eye, swollen/itchy eyelids, eye redness, increased tearing and inflammation of the cornea (clear front portion of your eye). Most of these side effects fade away gradually over time without the need for medical intervention. However, consult your doctor if you experience these side effects frequently.
GB-Cin Ophthalmic Solution is for ophthalmic (eye) use only; do not inject or swallow. Do not use GB-Cin Ophthalmic Solution if you are allergic to tobramycin, other aminoglycoside antibiotics, or any components in GB-Cin Ophthalmic Solution.
