GB-Cin Ophthalmic Solution contains tobramycin, an antibiotic that works by killing the infection-causing bacteria. Thus GB-Cin Ophthalmic Solution treats bacterial eye infections.

If you mistakenly put too many eye drops or ointment in your eye(s), rinse them promptly with lukewarm water.

Even if your symptoms improve, you must continue to use GB-Cin Ophthalmic Solution for the indicated treatment period. If you quit using GB-Cin Ophthalmic Solution abruptly, your symptoms may return.

Use GB-Cin Ophthalmic Solution only for the duration recommended by your doctor. Do not use it for more than the recommended duration. Inform your doctor if the eye infection does not improve after three days of using GB-Cin Ophthalmic Solution.

GB-Cin Ophthalmic Solution can be used with other eye medications if prescribed by the doctor. Maintain a gap of 15 minutes between GB-Cin Ophthalmic Solution and other eye medications. Use other eye medications first, wait for 15 minutes and then use GB-Cin Ophthalmic Solution.

Do not wear contact lenses while using GB-Cin Ophthalmic Solution. Remove contact lenses before using the GB-Cin Ophthalmic Solution. It is advised to wear spectacles and avoid contact lenses until the infection is cleared.

GB-Cin Ophthalmic Solution may temporarily blur the vision. Therefore, wait until your vision is clear before driving or operating machinery to prevent any mishappening.

About GB-Cin Ophthalmic Solution

GB-Cin Ophthalmic Solution belongs to the class of aminoglycoside antibiotics. It is used for the treatment of bacterial eye infections. Bacterial eye infection occurs when harmful bacteria invade any eye part, such as the eyeball, conjunctiva, or cornea.

GB-Cin Ophthalmic Solution contains tobramycin, an antibiotic that works by killing the infection-causing bacteria. Thus GB-Cin Ophthalmic Solution treats bacterial eye infections.

Use GB-Cin Ophthalmic Solution as prescribed by your doctor. The common side-effects of GB-Cin Ophthalmic Solution are eye irritation, feeling of having something in the eye, swollen/itchy eyelids, eye redness, increased tearing and inflammation of the cornea (clear front portion of your eye). Most of these side effects fade away gradually over time without the need for medical intervention. However, consult your doctor if you experience these side effects frequently.

GB-Cin Ophthalmic Solution is for ophthalmic (eye) use only; do not inject or swallow. Do not use GB-Cin Ophthalmic Solution if you are allergic to tobramycin, other aminoglycoside antibiotics, or any components in GB-Cin Ophthalmic Solution. If you are pregnant or breastfeeding, notify your doctor. GB-Cin Ophthalmic Solution may temporarily blur your vision; therefore, wait until your vision is back to normal before using any machinery or driving.

GB-Cin Ophthalmic Solution is used to treat bacterial infections of the eye(s). GB-Cin Ophthalmic Solution contains tobramycin which works by killing the infection-causing bacteria. Thus GB-Cin Ophthalmic Solution effectively treats bacterial eye infections.

Directions for Use

Eye drops: Lie down and tilt your head backwards. Pull your lower eyelid gently with your index finger to form a pocket. Instil the number of drops advised by the doctor into the pocket of the lower eyelid. Close your eyes for 1-2 minutes.Eye cream/ointment: Lie down and tilt your head backwards. Before using GB-Cin Ophthalmic Solution, notify your doctor if you have vision problems, severe eye pain, glaucoma (high blood pressure in the eye), eye damage, or eye surgery.

Diet & Lifestyle Advise

  • Get at least eight hours of sleep each night to naturally refresh your eyes.
  • Wash your eyes with clean water at least twice or thrice daily. If you had eye surgery, wash your eyes after two weeks.
  • Take care of your health by eating a well-balanced diet, exercising regularly, and getting plenty of rest.
  • Clean and replace your contact lenses more frequently if you wear them. Never share your contact lenses. Always wash your hands before and after the insertion and removal of contact lenses.
  • Avoid gazing at digital screens for extended periods. For every 20 minutes, take a break.
  • Blink frequently to aid in transmitting hydrating substances like mucus and tears across the eyes.
