Goodfol-LC Tablet belongs to the class of 'nutritional supplements' primarily used to treat nutritional deficiencies due to various complications or long-term diseases. Goodfol-LC Tablet contains folic acid, levocarnitine, and mecobalamin. Folic acid (vitamin B9) replenishes the deficient folic acid in the body. It helps in the production of healthy red blood cells and DNA. Levocarnitine is a naturally occurring amino acid derivative that helps your body turn fat into energy. It works by improving the low levels of carnitine in the body. Mecobalamin (vitamin B12) regulates body functions like cell growth, blood formation, and protein synthesis. It also prevents nerve damage by forming a protective layer (myelin) around the nerves.

Take Goodfol-LC Tablet as prescribed. The common side-effects of Goodfol-LC Tablet are diarrhoea, nausea (feeling sick), and vomiting. These side effects are mild and don’t require medical attention. However, inform your doctor if any of these side effects persist or worsen.

Do not take Goodfol-LC Tablet if you are allergic to any of its contents. Before taking Goodfol-LC Tablet , inform your doctor if you are taking any prescription, non-prescription medicines, herbal products, or dietary supplements. Inform your doctor if you have malabsorption syndrome (difficulty absorbing nutrition from food), cancer, kidney dialysis, optic nerve damage, hypokalemia (low potassium levels in the blood), and stent in the heart. Inform your doctor if you are pregnant or breastfeeding.

Please inform your doctor if you are using any prescription and non-prescription medications, including vitamins, and herbal supplements. Do not take Goodfol-LC Tablet if you are pregnant or breastfeeding unless prescribed by the doctor. Do not take antacids before or after 2 hours of taking Goodfol-LC Tablet as they may interfere with the action of Goodfol-LC Tablet . 

• Serum levels of mecobalamin present in Goodfol-LC Tablet may be lowered by the use of oral contraceptives.
• Monitor your blood glucose levels regularly while using Goodfol-LC Tablet .
